ABOUT

Raven grew up in New Richmond as son of a wealthy family! When he was 13 he joined a gang called the "Dragons" two years later he was in the gang wars, when the police started raiding the gangs and arresting every member, Raven got away, and joined the Military!  Raven wanted to earn his own name not to always be "The rich kid!" as he likes to say! After a Psi rating he was selected for special training as a Marine Corps Space Fighter pilot! This training gave him the skills to become one of the very best pilots! Training included knowledge of all types of weapons, demolitions, martial arts and black ops. After his personal training, he was assigned to a special squadron were they all trained to work as one! Not fly independently from the others but to fly as a team relying on each other’s skills to complete maneuvers and attacks!  They were given the best solo flight training in the Confederacy.  These Pilots are without a doubt the very best in the whole Confederacy!

Raven himself has come under fire many times by his superiors for always taking matters into his own hands! And using his unorthodox methods of combat in may hot situations! One incident saw Raven disobey an order to land, he went and destroyed a clocked Viridian Battle Curser, Had it not been for his high telepathic skills the "Dreadnought" would have been destroyed. So as you see Raven is not all bad, you just have to keep an eye on him!

Raven has had problems in the past, he had zero respect for authority, and always jeopardized his squadron with his DO OR DIE attitude, and this all changed with the death of squadron commander Andrew “Leviathan” Bond. He blamed himself and for the next few months it was like he had a death wish! I recall one incident in witch the Squadron as assigned to escort a wing of bombers to destroy and enemy capital ship, this ship and her escorts were poised to strike one of our frontier colonies, the population was 3 billion, a major commerce colony called “Dalton” we were on all kinds of missions to soften up the “Viridian” invasion force before the 52nd battle group was to assault their main force directly! However our intelligence proved to be inaccurate, their escort force was much larger then previously thought, it consisted of 3 large destroyers, and a number of small cursers and their fighter cover! The “Dragons” found themselves out numbers 20 to 1 and the bomber wing was destroyed before they could launch their torpedoes! The Dragons were ordered to retreat, they all cam back except for Raven who remained and destroyed all three caps ships! When the “Dragons” returned to bring him back they decided to stay and finish the job they destroyed all the fighters and all but three of the escort cursers! (There were 20 cursers!)

After this incident, I promoted “Raven” to the Rank of Commander, and gave him command of the “Dragon Squadron” he was reprimanded for disobeying orders, but his courage under fire in that mission earned him the “Southern Cross” the Confederacies highest award! After that he picked himself up, having a better understanding of command and the responsibilities, I must say he has not disappointed me since!

       Short-range medium yield Dumb-Fire missiles, in pods 33 , one on each shoulder and four on the legs. And an additional one in each upper for-arms!. +2000mph range: 250 meters. (200g RDX-20 Load)

4 x ‘NOVA’ Missiles

       Long-range missiles, mounted 2 under each wing. High explosive yield: 1 Kiloton (Nuclear Weapon) IMAGE GUIDED, +1500mph (When detonated it will blast an omni directional shockwave of 100 meters, with an "EMP" (Electro Magnetic Pulse) of 200 meters! The effects of the "EMP" are only temporary, they will last for 10 seconds!


Image Guidance- This system downloads an image from the ships targeting system and locks on to it, keeping it in sight and tracking the targets movements as well as using a Heat or Ion trail or radar system to follow the target should it get out of sight! It not believed possible to be able to avoid these missiles! One would either shoot them down or try and fly till they run out of fuel!


CONFEDERATE ADDITIONS

       Dimensional Relocation System:

This System Allows a fighter to jump instantaneously anywhere in a radius of 2 kilometers! When used, it takes 1 second to dematerialize, then another 1 second to rematerialize.  Shields and cloak are off-line for 20 seconds after each jump.


         Cloak with Stealth System:

This system bends lights making the fighter completely invisible to the naked eye, along with a electronic countermeasures system (stealth mode) that makes it invisible from almost all forms of scanning!


      LDS (Light Displacement System):

This system displaces light as the ship moves, it can be turned on an off when in B-Mode only! It is off when in any other mode! This is design to confuse enemy pilots making them think that the ship is going much faster then it really is!


       Plasma/Fission Cannon:

Developed for this Craft this is a dual weapon to be used when in Battloid mode! The Cannon has two weapons in one, the Plasma cannon witch fires a blast 1.5 meters wide at just under the speed of light, carries a heated charge of 70Mw. The Fission cannon fires a blast of glowing Nuclear Fission, requires a charge time of 5 seconds before firing! The Fission cannon has a blast power of .5 Kilotons but can only be fired once every 30 seconds in addition to the charge time! Both weapons are powered by a small nuclear reactor built into the Cannon, if critically hit it will meltdown and explode in 30 seconds! If this occurs user is strongly advised to reach minimum safe distance of 10 kilometers before the explosion! When in F- Mode it is stored directly under the fuselage. In B-mode it can be stored on the back for easy access, and in G-mode it is still under the fuselage.


       Laser Rifle:

This rifle fires a beam with a charge of 25Mw, effective lethal range is one mile! Has an independent power source, can be fired and sustained for a maximum of one minute before the power cell is depleted! In witch case the user must inset another power cell and put the old on in a compartment in the leg to recharge! Charge time is apx. 50 seconds! This dose have a secondary fire mode that can fire a blast of 57Mw, but this can only be used once before weapon's power is depleted, this fire mode is best used for Sniping! When in F-mode it is stored under the fuselage next to the Cannon, and in G/B-mode it is stored under the left for-arm for easy access. To solve the length problem the Butt of the rifle folds over the top and barrel flips off to the left side, when pulled from its storage clips all of its components will automatically flip into their positions! 


       "Tokamak" Fusion Reactor:

This reactor is powered by Deuterium-Triterium plasma, magnetically confined in a shell. Produces 7000 megawatts of power!


        Inertial and Friction Dampeners:

These Dampeners make the the fighter completely resistant to G-forces and friction, The pilot may go as fast and maneuver how he likes and not have to worry about the ill effects of high speed flight and atmospheric entry.


       

Hull Conformal Shields / Arm Mounted Tower shield: 

 The Hull Conformal Shields are used only while in F-Mode and G-Mode, when in B-Mode the power is diverted to a shield on the side of the arm, witch is projected from a short metal blade witch extends from the top of the for-arm. This 'blade' can move around into two positions, on is on the side of the arm, the other is going straight out to be used as a weapon or shield. This shield is the focused power of the regular shielding, making it absolutely impenetrable to any Bullets or Energy based weapons! This shields radius can also be reduced making an effective hand to hand weapon, with the energy focused on less of an area it can do severe damage to any armor or shields! However when In use this dose mean that the rest of the Battloid is unshielded, save for its armor!

 


       Carbanium Armor:

This armor is basically molecularly altered Titanium, It is molecularly mixed with diamonds making it very thought. However due to its weight it will slow down the crafts maximum speed! The Predator has a top speed of Mach 12 with its fusion reactor engines, however with addition of Cabanium Armor it is reduced to Mach 7. However this armor can withstand the toughest abuse for extended periods. It also serves as heat shields, the pilot (If this were physically possible!) could fly through a star and not feel it!


       Image Enhancement System:

This system is built into a small computer inside the pilots helmet, giving him his HUD display and highlighting targets in view, if the target were to move behind obstacles such as an asteroid on around the interior of the ship, it would still highlight it! This system also has the ability to alter the modes of view, including but not limited too, Image Intensification (Witch is a form of night vision but automatically would adapt to the sudden appearance of light saving the pilots eyes, their also would not need to be any amount of light to enhance, it would simply add a glow to objects!) Also included thermo-graphic vision (Best used when on foot not in Veritech!)


       Computer System:

This computer runs at 955Thz (Terra Hertz) making its computing speed second to non! Its located on the Pilots flight suite clipped to his belt! It runs independently from the fighter its self! This has the ability to instantly scan and give a summery of any thing it sees from known records! Or previous encounters! It has a limitless storage capacity as is uses a small cube build into the computer pack witch stores data into holographic sub-microscopic cells! Witch has no real limit!


       Thought Control System:

This system activate when in B-mode, giving the pilot complete control via thought! Basically his Helmet turn to a V.R. display through which he can see where the head has turned! This system offer grater Hand To hand combat effectiveness as well as dramatically improves on maneuverability!


       Thruster Array:

These are small medium powered maneuvering thrusters to be used while in B-mode giving the Battloid high Dexterity making it very maneuverable allowing for extra speed when moving limbs! This is only effective in space or other low gravity environments. Summarized, this system adds Humanoid movement speed to the Mecha! Designed to be used in conjunction with the "Thought Control System".


       F.T.L (Faster Than Light) Drive:

This system allows for faster than light travel, this is used for long range missions, The speed can take a the pilot two light years in 30 minutes!


SUMMERY:
This Mecha is fast well equipped and armed making it a dangerous adversary or powerful ally! However its soft spot is the fact that it is not well balanced for long range attacks, it is best used in Hand to Hand combat! With its superior dexterity and control system it is able to move like a humanoid in Battloid mode! Its only ranged attacks are missiles, the Plasma/Fission Cannon and the Laser Rifle, not designed to be effective weapons for destruction of the target, but rather to soften them up before hand to hand attacks!
