Standard VF-X-1L Veritech Fighter, with 2
submachine guns built onto the expansion pivots. Where the booster pack
would be mounted, the bracing for the submachine guns is. When the torso
'breaks' into Battloid mode, the brace pushes the guns over onto the shoulders.
Each Sub Machine Gun has 90 M.D.C. and the brace has 100 M.D.C. The Brace
has 500 round contained in it and allows each gun to fire short bursts of 10 (15
M.D.), a long burst of 20 rounds (30 M.D.), or a full melee blast (45 M.D.).
Reload takes 1 full melee. This Weapon has been designated the UZI-X18.
It has also been modified with several dorsal support
thrusters to counter the lower gravity of the moon. This doesn't really
add much to the fighting ability, except maybe better traction to the ground.
Also in this package comes a small filter in the engines to prevent 'moon dust'
from clogging up the engines. These engine modifications, nicknamed the
Lunar Pack, or LVP-1X, has been equipped on all Veritech fighters stationed at
the Lunar Base.
This Veritech has no gun-pod, and it's standard missile configuration is as follows; No weapon on the centerline hard point, 2 Long Range Reflex Multi-Warhead missiles (225 M.D.; 25 M.D.C.) on the inner wing hard points, and 3 Short range Medium warhead missiles (60 M.D.; 5 M.D.C.)
Everything else is exactly identical to a VF-1.

Main Engine: Rolls Royce/Turbomeca FFG Kestrel fusion turbine, located
in the main hull with four separate exhausts, two main exhausts located at the
rear of the main hull/'back legs' and two secondary exhausts located behind and
below the turret.
- Lift Engines: 4 Rolls Royce/Turbomeca Adour 950 providing a
maximum of 95 KN of ground-effect thrust each through 3 primary vents. Auxiliary
vents are provided to assist in breaking actions and light accelerations. The
engines are fed hot air from the fusion turbines. The fans are spun by electric
power from the protoculture energizers.
Range: 150 hours operational use with Protoculture supply.
Weapon Systems
1) Turret Mounted Particle Beam Cannon, mounted to the right of the
turret, this cannon is the tanks most powerful weapon. It's similar to the
PBC-11 particle beam weapons of the Excalibur MK VI.

Rate of Fire: A maximum of two per melee
2) 12-tube rocket-propelled grenade launcher: located in the front of
the main turret, next to the PB cannon. The typical payload consists primarily
of smoke grenades with occasional anti-personnel rounds.
Primary Purpose: Assault/defense
Secondary Purpose: Riot Control/Civil Rescue
Mega-Damage: Varies with specific warheads.
Rate of Fire: One at a time or volleys of two
3) Astra TZ-II weapon clusters in the left and right arm with:
(1) Oerlikon KCN-V 25mm, (1) RRG mk3 light laser, (1) M19 40mm grenade launcher.
Oerlikon KCN-V 25mm: fires APHE (Armor Piercing High Explosive) or HEI-T (High Explosive Incendiary - Tracer) rounds at a maximum rate of fire of 200 rounds/minute. The ammunition supply is 150 rounds. Short burst does 2D6 M.D., long burst does 4D6 M.D., and 6D6 M.D. for one full melee of continuous fire. Range: 4000ft (1200m).
RRG mk3 light laser: This laser 3 MJ pulses up to 60 times/minute. Does 2D6 M.D. with a range of 2000ft (609.6m).
M19 40mm grenade launcher: This launcher fires HE (High Explosive), FRAG (Fragmentation) or HEAT (High Explosive Anti Tank) shells out to 800 meters and has an ammunition capacity of 25 grenades in a side-mounted ammo drum. Mega-damage depends on warhead type.
4) Optional hand-to-hand combat is very limited and awkward for the
Centaur because the lack of normal arms.

*The Stomp with the foot is effective only against small
objects of 6ft (1.8m) or smaller.
Note: The Centaur cannot jump, leap, kick, or climb. It cannot pick up or
carry objects.

Gun Pod - 100MDC Notes: 1) If one engine is destroyed, then the maximum speed is dropped to only 1000mph for safety reasons, and can achieve 2000mph if the pilot is really good, but attacks and control would be 3 times as hard to make.
2) If the main body is depleted, the jet explodes, and unless there are under 100 remaining MDC on the pilot's compartment, then the pilot can eject into space, in a chair with minimal maneuvering ability.
3) If the Pilots compartment is destroyed, then the pilot is most likely dead. Roll 2d10, if the number is 90% or above, he lives, but unconscious. The craft is adrift for eternity, but salvageable, if someone comes along to get it.
4) If any wing is destroyed in atmosphere, the jet plummets to the ground, and if it is space, maneuverability is eliminated, and only straight-forward flight is available.
5) If the tail is destroyed in atmosphere, it begins to descend rapidly, but controlled. If destroyed in space… nothing.
6) And of course, if the Gun Pod is destroyed, you can't use it, duh.

reverse/braking flight.
Stall speed 100mph with vertical thrusters on, and can perform a VTOL in lunar
gravity or less.

Rate of Fire: Twice a melee. Any more and the gun will overheat.
*Notes: Targeting with this weapons is slightly harder. Rolling a 1D20, getting anything 10 or under is an automatic miss.
Other Notes: This jet is capable of flying in any weather, any atmosphere. Engine exhaust is made of a very intense flame, vaporizing anything following within 5 meters of it when flying at speeds over 500 mph. The jet can obtain an unstable hover in lunar gravity, but rocks back and forth, side to side. Agility is slightly greater than a VF-1, and all in all, the jet acts like an F/A-18 in every other aspect not already mentioned.

Speed: 4320mph (Mach 6) in forward flight, and 450mph in
reverse/braking flight. Can 'supercruise' (fly without afterburners) at
over Mach 2.

Created by Jace and Dr. Lang, this cannon is much more powerful and compact than it's predecessor, and it's fire can be of almost any volume, and either in burst form, or beam form. The gun is roughly cylindrical, with a handle and a clock on top. It's power matrix is completely internal, and it works just like a gunpod. The interface is via the connections in the handgrip, or by the button-like controls on the side. The cannon, if the pilot wishes, can have the handle folded up, and turned into a bazooka-shaped pod.

Name: LDSS Tachyon
This is our primary DropShip, also referred to as Luna 1. It is commanded by Lieutenant Duo Barton, and supports every fighter in the arenas, and in battles. It can reload, resupply, and repair any Starfighter or mecha, and deploys our mecha to the arena.
